Consignment Terms & Conditions

GradedTown operates a consignment marketplace for PSA graded Pokémon cards. When you consign cards with us, you retain ownership until the card is sold. GradedTown acts as the intermediary — receiving, verifying, listing, and shipping cards on your behalf.

GradedTown charges a platform fee on each successful sale, deducted from the sale price:

All prices in NZD. GST (15%) is included in the platform fee.

• All consigned cards (unless storage-only) are listed as $10 NZD starting price auctions
• Auctions run for a minimum of 7 days, ending every Wednesday at 8:00 PM NZT
• You may optionally set a Buy Now price — buyers can purchase instantly at this price, ending the auction
• Anti-snipe protection: bids in the last 2 minutes extend the auction by 5 minutes
• If no bids are placed and no Buy Now, the card returns to your account as unsold
• Listings cannot be modified or cancelled once live. Please review all details carefully before listing.

• When a buyer pays for your card, the sale amount (minus platform fee) is credited to your GradedTown balance
• Credits are available immediately after buyer payment
• Cash out your full balance at any time via bank transfer
• No partial cashouts — the full balance is transferred each time
• Bank transfers are processed manually within 1-2 business days
• No minimum balance required for cashout

• Storage-only option: $20 per card (paid upfront) — card is held without being listed
• Cards in storage can be listed for auction at any time (no additional fee)
• Cards over $1,000 in estimated value are stored in a separate secure vault location
• There is no time limit on storage — cards remain in our custody until sold, relisted, or returned

• You may request return shipping for any card not currently in an active auction
• Includes unsold cards, storage-only cards, and rejected cards
• Shipping rates: $10 for 1-2 items, +$5 per additional item
• Paid via Stripe before shipping
• Tracked shipping within New Zealand

• GradedTown maintains insurance for all cards in our custody
• Cards damaged in our custody → full insurance claim, seller compensated
• Cards damaged in transit to buyer → insurance claim, buyer refunded
• Cards lost in transit → insurance claim, both parties made whole
• All cards inspected on intake and dispatch — records serve as evidence in any dispute

• Buyer disputes are first compared against intake photos and listing description
• PSA grade is objective — the grade on the slab is the grade
• If GradedTown made an error (wrong card shipped), we rectify at our cost
• Chargebacks are contested with our full documentation (photos, tracking, delivery confirmation)

• All cards are verified against PSA's database upon receipt
• Cards may be rejected for: damaged case, suspected counterfeit, non-PSA grading, non-Pokémon card
• Rejected cards are added to your account with the rejection reason
• You may request return shipping for rejected cards at standard rates

In the event that GradedTown ceases operations:

• Notice period (Days 1–30): All card owners will be notified via email and in-app notification. Sellers must arrange return shipping for their cards within 30 days of the notice. Standard shipping rates apply.
• Extended holding period (Days 31–60): Cards not claimed within the initial 30 days will be moved to general holding. We will continue to make reasonable efforts to contact card owners during this period.
• Abandonment (After 60 days): Any cards not claimed within 60 days of the original cessation notice will be considered abandoned. GradedTown may dispose of, donate, or sell abandoned cards at its discretion, with no obligation to the original owner.

Sellers are responsible for keeping their contact details up to date to ensure they can be reached.

Always use tracked shipping when sending cards. Include your submission reference number inside the package.
