Terms of Service | GradedTown

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GradedTown ("the Platform"), operated at gradedtown.nz, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of New Zealand to use GradedTown. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities under it. You must provide accurate information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Marketplace Rules

GradedTown is a marketplace for PSA graded Pokémon cards only. All listings must accurately describe the card, including the PSA certification number, grade, and condition. Counterfeit or misrepresented items are strictly prohibited.

5. Seller Obligations

Sellers must complete identity verification and connect a valid bank account before listing. Sellers must ship items within 3 business days of a sale and provide valid tracking information. Failure to fulfil orders may result in account suspension.

6. Buyer Obligations

Buyers must provide a valid NZ shipping address and complete payment promptly. Buyers should confirm delivery within 14 days of receiving their item. Orders are auto-completed after 14 days if no action is taken.

7. Fees & Payments

GradedTown charges sellers a 5% commission on completed sales (minimum $10 NZD). There are no buyer fees or listing fees. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Payouts are made to the seller's connected bank account after delivery is confirmed.

8. Auctions

Auction bids are binding. By placing a bid, you commit to purchasing the item at your bid price if you are the winning bidder. Anti-snipe rules apply: bids placed in the final minutes may extend the auction duration.

9. Disputes & Refunds

Buyers may open a dispute if an item is not as described or not received. GradedTown will review disputes and make a determination. Refunds, when issued, are returned via the original payment method.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: engage in fraud or deception; list counterfeit items; manipulate bids or reviews; harass other users; use the Platform for any illegal purpose; or attempt to circumvent our fees or payment system.

11. Limitation of Liability

GradedTown is a marketplace platform that facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers. We are not a party to the sale and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items listed. Our liability is limited to the fees collected on any given transaction.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
